THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hmmm, I just went to move my Jeep, and someone turned the snorkel intake around, so it was facing backwards.

I got all excited because I thought that might have been the reason for my horrible gas mileage the other day, but I just looked in the pictures and it was straight.

Hm...

Bye bye roof.
Hello beer.
Hello fire.
Bye bye other parts of unibody.

Boy, I've got a project ahead of me...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so im thinkin 1.25-5/16 don for my steerin and tb and run 3/4 hiems thoughts?
Why the odd 5/16" wall size? That isn't going to allow you to direct tap for 3/4" rod ends and it'll make finding tube adapters harder. I'd stick with the 1/4" wall.
I didnt really wanna trust 3/4 stuff, I went for 7/8 with 3/4 bolts
Really you went with it? How's it been working out for you? :D

Seriously though, Rob I went with 7/8" and 3/4" bolts as well.
However I feel a 3/4" rod end would be plenty fine. Many many many people use that size with full hydro and have no issues. PSC generally sells kits with that size. I had to get larger clevises to support my 7/8" ends.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Jeep is done and back together except for a few minor details. Right as I was throwing the last bolts onto my header panel my buddy pulled up and reminded me that it was a friends b-day and we should go out for a few beers (just as it was getting dark and I coudlnt see shit anyway w/o taking out the lights). So I quit for the night, just gotta throw the headlight bezels back on, the belt on, and fill her up with coolant.

oh, bite me. alaska was awesome. i wish i could move there and never look back.
I would love to visit but I doubt I would want to live there. Just way to far out of the way. I mean I would love to visit frequently but not year round. I already have two life trips planned... one to Alaska in my Jeep and one on a bike, still deciding what I want to ride

For instance, here is my dana 30 supermonkey, [/URL]

Oh and Anthony, if you want a hand with anything this wkend let me know. I would be glad to stop by and lend a hand if you are working on the Jeep.

And also, if I get a decent DSLR you mind giving me a crash course in wtf I am doing with it? I'm sure I can pick up the details via practice and reading but I would def take any help I can get; would love to be able to take pics like you always seem to end up having
