speaking of ninja trees, one of em got my passenger a pillar good this past september at fall crawl. could have been avoided with a front locker, or maybe if i were less determined to avoid winching :laugh3: Ironic fact is, I still winched!

Well, it's funny...before you have a winch, its "Ohhh, it would be soo nice to have a winch..." then in my case, you go spend a grand on the damn thing, and say "**** no, I ain't winchin!" hammer down and break more crap... it's like reverse psychology or something, idk...

i've really only ever seen a winch used a few times on a trail. oh well.

i was out with NTC last spring and they used it the most out of anyone i've ever seen. lame.

I've could of really used one maybe 4 times last year, then 2 seasons ago I broke my rear DS flange on my axle at the turn around point of mabell.. I was unlocked in the front. without a winch it was suchhhh a pita

eric, how firm/soft would you say those coils you have for sale are?

i'm trying to figure out what will net me about 5" of lift with the bumper and winch that i have... (adds about 150 lbs, i'd guess)

I have been winched a handfull of times.

The only times I've been winched have been because I've been friggen stuck, and I'm not going anywhere. I've never been winched up an obstacle because I couldn't make it up.

The only times I will use my winch once I get it on, will be if someone is pretty stuck, and can't be pulled, I'm stuck, and my tires are just spinning, and a little tug won't work, or I'm about to roll over.

Hmmm...... they could do it for you, but you might need a .75 spacer.

they always netted me more lift than 4.5 but then again I had the stock bumper and we all know there isn't much to those.

True, I just got a killer price on mine, which is new and plus I do wheel alone sometimes (I know I know badddddd idea) but it happens
