I wish :( I'm at work now. But, until I got here, I hadn't been on NAXJA for the past 16 hours....cuz I wasn't on a computer at all this morning. Today's certainly gorgeous outside, I wish I was still home.

bite me, i'm stuck at work.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Better to me is defined as easier to accomplish the same task (in terms of tools).

yes, but what about when a notcher cant accomplish the same task as a grinder? :dunno:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

dont get me wrong, ill use a notcher as much as i can, but the grinder will do more. i wanna see a notcher cope tube flat or around a square tube :D

we're arguing like little girls.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think it's about time to get the hell out of this place, I have spent enough time pretending to work today.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You're trying to compare a tool that does one thing to something that can do something else entirely.

In terms of just notching, I would think a tube notcher would be better.

Sure if you need to cope or something else I'd imagine it wouldn't be the best.

cooped up in my cube atm

soon as I get home, I'll be buying some exhaust paint, welding up the new exhaust for the MJ, painting it, then installing it. Then I'll probably spend a bit of time going over the massivemobile and fixing random shit on it, plus installing a pair of cig lighter outlets so I can plug a GPS unit and phone charger in. Might see if I can't find a place to buy material for new cushions too, and dig out my sewing machine and try making myself a soft top for it.

Speaking of which, offer stands, anyone who finds me a good soft top (NOS preferred) for under 200 bucks gets a case of brews.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

to all whom are working, get a packet of oatmeal, and a bottle of water, mix contents in mouth, then go to boss's office and proceed to "vomit" contents onto boss's desk, then say you want to go home due to bein sick

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

likewise... I wanna see some gravel get made! I seem to recall you clearing a rock via kinetic energy alone, and throwing laying frame / throwing sparks everywhere in the process.

just found a new tach cable for the massivemobile for 38 bucks RIGHT BEFORE clicking "bend me over" and paying 115 for the same thing :D I'm getting better at this military parts catalog + googling part numbers thing, they're nothing like my jeep parts catalogs.

EDIT: DAMN IT, getting better at this means I learn how much I already got bent over, at least it was only 33 bucks vs 29 bucks for a headlight.

If you ever find yourself needing military vehicle parts, erik's military surplus seems to have the best prices.

EDIT2: holy crap, $150 for new tach cable, temp gauge, wiper blades, hood latches, AND a belt set. I was gonna drop 250 or 300 or even more on that at any of the other sites I had found.

Tell us the specifics of what (else) they fit and mayhaps it might help find one or narrow the search down.
