use something that has a good UV rating. cheap paint fades fast. i use some rustolem auto stuff i find at lowes for "nice" looking extrior pieces like my bumpers and front fenders. holds up nicely and keeps a nice glossy finish that matches well with the factory black paint.
maybee if to paint the rockers and rear bumper to match it might look good, to be honest is just do black for now and worry more about the cracksI thought about that. I'm not sure how it'd look... Opinions?
forgot to ask...what constitutes a "good" uv rating?
just do the ones i told you about, i think gloss black would look better, it hlps break up the lines betterYeah, the auto place I get most of my parts from does a lot of custom paints and all that junk. But that sounds way too complicated for me. Spraypaint FTW as far as I'm concerned
what store?
This +i used rustoleum hammered, i like so far
This primer I what I use and it works great and has held up pretty good too. But If I do it again I'll go with that black high performance enamal.heres pics
