Why don't you get another cherokee? Cheap, reliable, easy to fix and then it's enclosed so you can leave your parts out of the elements if you're too lazy to bring them inside. I've had engines, transmissions, axles, including ones like a 14bolt and i've have 60s and 44s back here all day long. I've driven around with loads easily over 500 pounds for weeks.

ideally i'm looking to spend less than $1000 but am flexible depending on what it is. what do you have to offer? i'm also looking for any decent cherokees as well, don't get me wrong. the main priority is something that will pass inspection and get me by until i can get the jeep fixed. as much as i'd love to buy another $500 beater cherokee they're supringly difficult to find right now.

kyle, right now i got a 1989 GMC K2500HD. the truck itself has 200K, but the engine and tranny are GM reman's with 30k, 5.7 V8 & TH400. within the last year i put new load range E tires on, new brakes, and a new dual exhaust on. everything is in good shape, its a no thrills get the job done type of truck. i use it to pull my jeep, other cars, loaded the bed with stone, amd all sorts of manly stuff. simply put, its a beast. if i put it up for sale, i was gunna ask $1500-1750, something around there. if its something ur interested in, make an offer

Using the rev limiter on my parents station wagon, and 4 tries to get out of the driveway this morning was sweet. Only to drive about 100 yards down the road, in the opposite way I needed to travel, then turn around and get my parents Expedition.
