I took a perfectly good knuckle and threw my grinder at it. looking back, maybe thats why the guard fell off. reguardless, i now have an armless steering arm.
anyone interested/free on weds for a little mj work party?
i have a few things i need help with.
I would like to mount up the sliders and maybe lift springs for the front and shackles for the rear.
i'm bored. i went down to blue hills ski area today in milton (just south of boston) since it was their last day of the season, and i know the park manager there. they were going to do a pond skimming contest, which would be rad.
but... their "pond" had a rip in the tarp, which allowed the entire thing (20ft long, 10 feet wide or so) to drain away, melting all of the snow underneath so they had to cancel it.
i guess i'll have to wait until Loon or Sunday River does a pond skimming thing later this year.
seriously... all I got done was swapping out some wiper arms (bought a set of 97+ ones at the JY, brought them home and put them on only to realize that they're the same as 96-down ones, the rumor that they are different is complete BS, both types will stand up from the windshield in exactly the same way) and bought some stuff I'm gonna need to work on the new axle for the MJ.
I did go ice skating though, need to do that more often, my legs cramped up while I was bombing through a turn and I had to finish it on my toes.
EDIT: I have a UPS tracking page open... something has not arrived yet, and I completely utterly forget what the hell it was. Santa really does drive a brown truck, it's gonna be like christmas when I open that package and remember what the hell I bought
Oh well, I'll find one once I get my own house. Currently I have no where to keep it while I swap in an HO engine/computer/etc.
And I'm bored. Waiting for a friend to finish whatever she is doing and then probably heading out for drinks... I guess now is as good a time as ever for a power nap
damn, if you'd posted that two months ago I'd be all over it... I think I got enough cargo space in the MJ though. If I need more than that I'll just have to buy an M35 or rent a uhaul :dunno:
