It seemed to be coming from a more westerly direction, you are more north/northwest.

Though maybe my direction was a bit off, very possible

Got to see a 5min. Sneek peek of an action flic called the Expendables. It's in that classic style and looks good with a decent cast. Search for a trailer and take a look.

So now I'm doing my rear shocks and drinking beer in the parking lot at work. BEST MONDAY EVER

I completely forgot it was a holiday until one of the guys mentioned coming into work on Tuesday morning (I then asked why not Monday morning and he said it was a holiday).

Strange thing is that I thought my company usually sends out an email saying "the office will be closed on monday to reflect [holiday]". I never got that email. idk if my company has work today or not.

Either way my customer has the day off so there is no reason for me to go into the office. Worst comes to worst I don't have today off and just have to work from home I guess.

I can vouch for him on 1/2 of this statement...but even Ross can't throw J20's...it would be both an insult & a challenge.

If you'd like to throw the J20 out back, I plan on attempting to move it on thursday to the garage bay to finally lift the bed off & replace the gas tank. I could probably use your pop-eye strength...

that's awesome. i'll be working on my jeep after jenn leaves in the early afternoon. not sure what my goals for today are.

i have to
-rebuild a hub/clean it all out
-pull the rear shocks
-press the bar pins out of the other 3 edelbrock shocks
-ream pitman arm for one ton TRE

probably some other crap too. but i'm definitely going to start measuring and pondering for the 3-link. can't build it if you don't know what you're building.

in all seriousness, i really do have a can of spanich with popeye on it that i keep around the house. the original popeyes (pre WWII) are the best

happy with how it came out though

played with the calculator and went under the jeep and put everything where it fit. unless you are doing a longarm 3 link. you basically gotta go through the floor if you want it to not suck. more work than i wanted

i will be doing a longarm 3 link... and i've got rust to fix anyway, so i'm going to put the suspension where it will work, then rebuild the floor accordingly.

i know the owner... this vehicle has been well used, to put it politely...

He definitely did drive it like he stole it, but it does have a pretty damn clean body for a 2nd gen. He also knows his way around a diesel, so I know it was at least maintained.

That said, I talked to him today and it's at the dealership getting the rear main done and a whole bunch of other work.

If you're seriously interested, let me know I can give you his number.

Colin, I had a weird dream last night where you decided that your Jeep was trash or something, and you were taking it apart and decided to give me your y-link, and said it was fine, you didn't need to wheel for a little while.
