THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Good thing about ebay stores is they strive for good feedback. People wanna buy from stores with as close to 100% positive feedback as possible so they really have to take care of there customers even though I barely paid any money for what I got. It would be impossible to find brakes for a 2wd comanche for less than $120 and I paid half that. We'll see how the work but so far I'm happy.

the duramax has its new black cap on. its looks sweeeeeet. all the guys at capworld couldnt believe the size of the truck and how much room is in the back (we got one of the caps that bumps up for more interior room.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i think when i swap in the 60, i wanna redo the upper coil mounts like vetteboy did and have it setup for air bumps so when i have a little more $$$, i can drop them in.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mmm.......air bumps in the classifieds
Saw those, was tempted, I need bumpstops.

And with regard to ebay stores... Only time I had a negative experience was when I bought fork seals for my bike. They sent me the wrong ones and then didn't respond to my emails. I then went to the company website and got no response from there either. 2 weeks later I finally left negative feedback and hours later I had an email reply. Shortly after that I had another email saying "what, you left negative feedback? why'd you do that? Now I can't help you". I linked him to all the other emails I sent as well as messages I left on their website and he was still a dick to me. Said he might be able to get my 20$ back. I just gave up trying. it wasn't worth my time esp cuase I would probably be charged to ship them back and end up only getting like $10 for all the effort.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sam needs those more than anyone I know :roflmao:
i was thinking bill could use them... but doesn't he want 2" strokes?

i wouldn't mind putting some sort of a cushier bump than a hockey puck, but it seems like air bumps are the only ones that actually last to abuse... we'll see.

i will say that i'm looking very much forward to reworking my front suspension (and rear) a bit.

speaking of that, who has a 180* 1.75 dia die?

:dunno: No idea what Bill would want. I think most people run 2" strokes up front so they don't hit the coils during articulation I believe (if they are mounted inside the coil spring).

My EVS bumps have stood up pretty well to the beating I've supplied. No chunking, ripping, etc.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hmm. yeah, i think you're right about the hitting the coil during articulation. but i can't really think of another good place to mount them. it's so out of the way and perfect...

about the EVS bumps: i thought when we talked about them before you said they were a huge PITA to get on and didn't really do much either?

maybe i could get a really really stiff spring and mount it to the top of the bottom coil bucket...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So my Math teacher only assings the odd numbers in the book. Needless to say I didn't even look at the problems but I have all the answers.

Yeah Bill has his rear setup for air bumps, not the front (AFAIK).

Yeah they were a huge PITA, and I never aired it out or anything before I had them in so I can't compare. I do know that I definitely come down on them HARD when I land, and I've yet to have a hard uncomfortable landing (except the time at swanzey where I hit a whoop too fast - Bump can tell you how uncomfortable that was lol).

I'd get some progressive polys like Sam used to run.
