http://delaware.craigslist.org/cto/1539358477.html

so that's the closest I've found to the one I wanted. and it's $1300 more, bone stock (none of the awesome little extras like the 97 had like IPF headlights, hella fogs, alpine deck, alloys with matching spare, k&n fipk, dynomax cat back, etc etc), and in fawking delaware. ughh. The search continues :(

The bank who owns the deed needs to approve a short sale and unfortunately sometimes takes forever to do. The new laws passing in a couple months will alleviate these problems.

Was it a short sale? I've been under agreement for 3-4 months now. It's listed in MLS as inactive, though, and they aren't showing it to anyone else anymore.

If I could get the place in north brookfield though, I'd tell bank of america to pound sand and give me my deposit back.

Yeah, but by the time those laws are passed the tax credit will have expired :banghead:

And I don't know if anyone mentioned rust yet... failed for rust somewhere?

Looks like foglights may be one of them.

Door hinges?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

lockrite is out and spiders gears are in. currently cutting down the draglink to center the steering wheel. more currently on dinner break.

Damage report to lockrite:

-all four holes for the pins are elogated
-one pin is snapped
-side teeth are in poor shape
-area on the center piece where the crosspin goes has some spots chipped off
-hardened crosspin has some damage/excessive wear spots

with the axle locked, there was about 20* of slop from side to side.

I have become all too aware of this over the last few months. Even worse, it's a Bank of Assholes, er, America short sale...

I don't even know why I'm bothering. Been pissing into the wind for nearly a year now, still haven't managed to find anything that isn't a huge hassle and pain in my ass.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Same.

I did have a slightly higher budget for a while too. One of buddies was going to rent a room so I was going to allow myself to shop in a higher price range than I originally planned (still keeping it within my personal budget incase he moved out, but just going a bit higher than I would have if I was buying w/o a roommate).

He moved away so now I don't have that extra bit that I was hoping to get per month and had to cut back on my price range. Speaking of which, anyone want to rent a room if I buy a house

Lucky. I wish I had no rust. I am slowly getting there. Now I just have rockers and rear quarters. Might be cutting off re-doing the rear quarters this weekend. Maybe even rockers too now that I think about it. Though I will likely just use the sheet and not do the 2x6 until it's warmer out and I can work outside.

And idk how you can fail for something that's not even a requirement :dunno: sounds like a really s***ty inspection station

if you have lights they have to work no exceptions even the lick em stick em i used to go to always checked your lights(he actually didnt the last time) but he lost his inspection licence again so i went to a shop in town that does good work and has good service

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

speaking of lick em stick em, anyone know the going rate for a windshield at junkyards around here? Friend's MJ windshield blew up the first time he turned the heat on after we replaced the thermostat and he hasn't gotten it inspected yet, so I figure a junkyard windshield is in order because there is no way he's passing ANYWHERE with a 10" long crack right in the center of the driver's field of view, and his glass insurance won't cover it unless it has a valid inspection sticker.
