Edit: Huzzah! Apparently there is not a flake of snow on my car :thumbup: idk if it's due to aerodynamics or just where/what angle it was parked at... but I love waking up to snow and then hearing that none of it stuck to my car!
Now why did you have to go and post those. They already sold and were just what I wanted (Cheap 36s to use for "measurements" while I trim the front wheel well and tub the rear). damn you!!! :laugh3:

shoveling? PSSSSH! i just did the drag-my-roommate out of the driveway technique so we didn't have to shovel, and she was supposed to leave to the airport like an hour ago... whoops!

Yeah, when in college there was one time that I drove my XJ up to our front door with the tire right over the sidewalk... did that a few times to pack everything down and we had a nice walking path to the sidewalk (which was cleared by the school):thumbup: Then there were a few times that I gave people a pull rather than having them shovel themselves out.
I loved watching my roommates shovel out someimes. I would always wait till they were done, then go sit in my Jeep adn just put it in reverse (2wd) and go over/through the 2' plowed up snowbank behind my Jeep with no issues, just to rub it in that their civic sucked :firedevil

i was just toolin around in the snow
with a bad wheel bearing and a slightly bent tie rod
and did donuts and my drivers front tire shakes violently by like 6"

Damn, so what was the final "cost of damages" incurred by you guys last night? Hearing that many people seem to have taken damage while just driving around maybe I am glad that I didn't get out. :laugh: Oh, and I get to go buy a pizza in a little bit. Let's see if I will be able to get my altima up the driveway on the way back. Rev limiter here I come.

well, my front end has been acting up since i blew up my short side shaft and bj's. today was the first time ive put it in 4wd. my dad challenged my to go thru the backyard and not get stuck. as soon as a hammered down, the locker started banging and clunking horribly. probably time to find a new locker or something

Just said screw laws and took the Jeep for a short drive around my street to test 4wd and such. All I can say now is "why did I stop DD'ing a Jeep?". I am now on the full time hunt for another XJ or MJ to fix up for a DD. Oh god I missed it
Everything including clutch worked great though I am going to check the t-case fluid level because when I put it in 4 lo I started to get a bit of a whine, though that may be normal... don't really remember. Also, whats the top speed you are supposed to go in 4 lo? I don't remember if it was 20-25mph or 40mph.. though I thought it was one of those 2. :dunno:
Only other issues I had besides the exhaust rattle which went away on its own after a min or 2 was my steering wheel being a bit off center (the track bar relo bracket was clunking again, so its probably a bit loose and that's what caused the off center steering wheel).
Don't think there was anything else wrong though I will probably end up swapping out the gear oil, tranny fluid, and t-case fluid before I do any real driving.

I don't really know how fast I got, I was just seeing how it would do up a hill on my street. shifted through 4th gear, once I hit 4th is when I slowed down (half way up the hill). Then I did the rest of the hill in 4hi. Maybe I passed 25 (or my tires passed 25, who knows. I wasn't particularity paying attention and idk if any tires were spinning or not)

Frack, my Xbox just RROD'ed and it's out of warrenty. Guess that just means I get to tear into it, fix it, and maybe install it in a custom case. Time to go shop newegg for a nice micro tower.
