THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

morning all. I'm still trying to figure out why I'm up this early. Have nothing to do all day

Man, I can't remember the last time I had nothing to do all day!

I think this is my first post in this thread, and apparently I'm only allowed one more line of text.

Billy's story about calming down one of his short bus passengers by promising him gifts from Santa ....... CLASSIC!!!!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hmmmm. Now that I think about it, I might put a RuffStuff cover for my 8.8 on the list (though we usually keep gift costs down below 50 or so these days) - I know I'm never gonna need something that strong, but I'd rather never worry about it again. I forgot how weak stock 8.8 covers are till I did some work on the axle a few days ago.

EDIT: MrSimon, you're allowed more than 3 lines of text, there is just no guarantee that some of the guys will read it :jester: I don't think they ever set a lower bound on the font size either...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I bought a bag of dried peaches to snack on at work. They taste pretty good, but they look like this. I'm not sure if eating them is fun or disgusting.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'll be here late again today...I can almost guarantee it.

How come some people here claim to have so little work and yet I'm here late almost every week?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

because when most people talk about having nothing to do they mean they have nothing they feel like doing, but piles of crap they don't feel like getting to

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I also want, I think that is gonna be cheaper for me than getting my tires mounted somewhere. If we lived a bit closer together (and Scott too) I'd say we should just go 3 ways on it, not like we're all gonna need to mount tires at exactly the same instant.
I could go for that. Hell, even if I end up buying one y'all are free to use it at any time. Worcester isn't all that far from me, esp if I am already out that way for work (I work in Franklin).

I am still trying to figure out what the hell I am doing for wheels/tires. I may still end up going with some AT's on the aluminum wheels and bais ply on the steelies for trails, but that wouldn't happen until next summer at least.

The big thing would be getting the tires balanced after mounting them. I mean I can bring my wheels/tires to walmart (if I remove them from the XJ) and have them mounted/balanced for like 5$ each (was something like that last time I checked, but that was years ago)..., so idk how much it would cost for just balancing. Woudl be something to look into I guess.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah, I figured I'd go to either the tirewarehouse a mile from my place or maybe Sams Club a bit further out. Hopefully one or the other will balance retreads...

they probably wont know what a retread is.
