on extreme 4x4 they turned a 14b FF into a front steering axle to go on a cj8.

by the way, this is the build that they are doing with simple tools found in a 2 car garage...

oh yeah, so i bought a 80cuft tank, gloves, a mask, (bill, i didn't get a jacket yet) and a magnet... it's cool cuz you can turn the magnet on and off to clean it or have it around other things.

gonna go get the welder itself soon

i got a crappy 30 dollar mask that you can fold just the dark part up and down. auto dimming some day. haha, not yet.

I need a side mirror, the guy didn't give me an inspection on the 2 door because there was a piece of the mirror missing. And he gave me crap about the front license plate as it was zip-tied to the grill, (there was no bracket on the front when I got it) and when i told him I had no other way of attaching it, he told me to drill into the bumper and attach it that way.

Oh, and the guy tried to tell me that the u-joint in the driveshaft must need to be replaced, or there is play in the pinion. All because when he shifted it into drive, the Jeep torqued like every Jeep I've driven has done. I told him he must have never driven a Jeep before.

And damn junkyards for not being open on sundays, I need a turn signal switch today too.

I did see another fully skid-protected and tranny cooled Jeep in the mall parking lot today, it was a base SE as well.

Auto dimming is magnificent, except when it doesn't dim cause it shut itself off.
