there was no reason to refill the trans as it didnt leak anything, plus mine has its way of telling me when its low, didnt you grenade a ax15 cuz of not adding fluid?

no, it never grenaded. it's just not as quiet now. but that was a year ago and much wheeling afterwards on 30 WT oil. it's fine now. i do want to swap it for a good one though.

i started gutting my jeep. soundsystem is coming out and going in the GTI. stock system is going back in the jeep. i might keep the jeep and fix it. the more i think about it the more i want to fix it.

oh yeah, and i now have a functioning, clean set of washer and dryer at my house. yay clean clothes and down with re-wearing.

i had some issues when i first got the jeep with the aw4 with it runnin low on fluid and not moving, but added a couple quarts and its been fine since but now its leakin again

what does it sound like? i think my tranny is making some noise but it might be something else.

just got done tearing apart old case, it had maybee a cup of fluid if that and it was realy nasty, inside the chain was def streched, there was lots of shavings on the magnet too, but the best part was all the stress fractures inside the case, it was ready to go boom

a lot of the little things in the inside of the castings are just imperfections, not stress fractures. i noticed that about mine when i did my SYE and i had it apart. but the way you wheel they very well might be stress fractures haha.
