as far as skids go carmelo, excluding diff covers you can make your own easily enough assuming you've got the ability/time to fab them. whats he gonna be running for tires, do you know yet?

That's what I was thinking to. It doesn't look to hard to make a skid as long as I can find a piece of 1/4" scrap long enough to experiment with. He'll probably run 31s unless he can find a good deal on something up to 33s would be the max.

haha but honestly... when I was into quads back when i had my 400, I really wanted Hi-Per wheels. At the time they were basically the best you could get, I'm sure times have changed somewhat anyway, but that's what I'd go with probably :dunno:

If we don't find something cheap, we can always make stuff there. We have a full machine shop/diesel welder that cost probably cost almost as much as Colin's CTD.

I'm sure it would do just fine, as the honcho is BROKE! It also wouldn't be able to fit down the same trails.
