THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think it might be from how the caliper (looked to me??) like it was just kind of floating in space, and not held tight to the knuckle/caliper bracket.

i was able to crank them down all the way earlier.
its weird because when everything is cold its super smooth stopping, no surging or grinding, but then when it starts grinding, it kinda scary.:dunno:

im gonna get that caliper with the broken bolt off the knuckle somehow, and use the other rotors, and see what happens.
no reason it should grind then.
the ones that are on it were all rusty and who knows if they were kinda warped before anywho.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

not what I mean... it's difficult to explain, but try the rotor thing and if you're still having problems I'll come by and try and help ya out with getting something worked out :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my xj has rust and i want a MJ on tons.

PFFFT! Have a nice time trying to find a MJ in new england that is rust free. If rust is what's holding you back you probably shouldn't start looking at jeeps that are 10 or more years older than the one you have.

With that said.... DO IT

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i might be willing to part with the longbed for a good price or trade for a good running vehicle for the wife. ZERO rust.

anthony wants nothing to do with that transmission though ;) and Idk if he'd want a long bed to build a wheeling rig? x2 on the zero rust though

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

lol go for it. I bought them (no wheels) for less than that with a mint 37" SSR spare from Sam in August of '08 and sold them in October or November to Frosty for cheap, and he sold them cheap to (I guess) this guy, who apparently thinks they're worth more now

least he could do is sell them for what he paid for them, but whatever I suppose

thanks for the backup. i don't know if i want a LB or SB. either way it's probably getting chopped up eventually. i don't want it to be tube only. i like the look of a full body...

personally, if i was building an mj to be on tons, id go with the longbed,it would kinda look bigger(weird prob, but i remember a pic of a LB on 38's and thought it gave it a different look vs the SB)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the thing that would keep me from keeping a LB is departure angle

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the shortbed has a wheelbase of 113" and the longbed is 120" IIRC... the shortbed is long enough as far as I'm concerned, and the longbed is just too long. To each his own I guess, but that's my opinion on it...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
