The Jank

When I bought all those rims I also got a sweet deal on a new Roughstuff 9 inch housing. So if anyone's looking for a thrashed 8.8 with 4.88 gears and a Spartan, set up for an XJ let me know. It shouldn't take long.

mmm... fab 9s are awesome. but its the goodies inside that get pricey.

ive got a high nodular 3rd and 35 spline detroit, but stock housing. moser is a great resource for cut to length shafts.

going full or semi float?

I'm back and forth, however you can fix all that by just bringing another $600.00 bucks and taking it with you too. I've got a 130.00 back truss I'll throw in to seal the deal.

A buddy of mine sold me a Nodular Case that's already loaded with 4.88's and a spool for 300.00 dollars. It's a 31 spline but I think with a good set of Moly axles I should be ok for awhile. I've abused my 8.8 on stock axles with 39.5 tires and heavy metal beadlocks for almost 3 years and have never broken an axle. So my thought is to go with the 74-75 Early Bronco with 10 inch brakes Drivers side axle on both sides. This will offset the diff but I will only have to carry one spare. This should put me about 61 inches WMS to WMS and will be about 2 inches narrower than my front which should help it turn around obstacles. For now I think I'll stay leaf spring in the rear just because it climbs like it's possessed and I hate to risk taking a step backwards.

Spent a few hours cutting on TSL’s today and I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. I ended up cutting 32 pounds of rubber out of 4 tires. I also got around to cleaning out my building so Ole Chief has a place to stay dry this winter.

A few of the HCOR guys spend Saturday running some backroads in 14-16 inches of sugar like powder. Things went pretty good until we dropped down into Bear Run. After that it was a Winchfest for the next couple hours trying to get the street legal guys back to the main road. It was an awesome day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was great fun....I was running along and bam..... broke right through the ice and lost all forward momentum. I enjoy snow wheeling, I'm hoping to get to go up to the mountains of WV to the Scenic Highway and run this weekend. They got 3 feet of snow.... gonna be a blast.

It's been attempted countless times by everything from Buggies to Bouncers and it's never been climbed. When the water is on it it's very slimy so you have to wait till it's dry in the middle of summer to even get your nose on it.

Some of the pictures would be great candidates for the Ride of the Month. Pictures 1,6 and 11 from the first post and 10 and 11 from the second post would be my choices.
