The "Hope I get done before Winterfest" List.....

I was welding up the new rear shock mounts last night and ran out of gas...it is amazing the difference in the weld quality when it runs out. I finished the line I was on just to show an example. Can you tell which one had the gas and which one did not? :D

One looks like you did it, the other looks something like what I imagine what mine would look like!:eyes:

make killer Brownie pie for pot luck

Hope to get my 33's by then and have them bumpstoped correctly(ORDERED), and got to get a new fire extinguisher(DONE), i would also like to have some hood pins installed

:D at least is something

I got my ARB air locker repaired this week.
I also replaced the front axle joints and the front DS CV joint

BOB

Since its official, and i'm registered-i guess i better get some stuff done on the jeep.

Hope to replace motor mounts, trans mount and check all fluids.

Also need to figure out my exhaust, maybe someone can chime in with a suggestion. I have a tomken gas tank skid, and brians shackle relocation brackets. The stock exhaust exit point wouldnt fit a stock size pipe without rattling, so i went to a smaller pipe and it rattles after 1 trip out now. Thinking about dumping the exhaust for the trip, but don't want to do that. Haven't found a great option!

can you just cut the end of the pipe off, far enough back that it doesn't hit anything anymore? this would still allow the exhaust to exit near the back of the Jeep. could maybe put a turn-down on it also.

gota add here

want to get my front bumper repainted with bed liner, possably rip the carpet out and bedline the floors, get the d30 skid that i got from John about a month before brewfest on(done), make a splash shield for the alternator, and i am missing one bolt on each side for the hitch cause the holes for the 96- skid dont line up exactly so i have to re drill and put those bolts in(done)

finish steering, clean the beads on my front tires and spare, new rear spring perches and replace left main leaf that I bent last year at winterfest. Replace the radiator that started to leak yesterday when I started it.

Do you want my beat up leaf spring packs? There's one good main leaf, some 3" Rusty's AALs and good overloads.

I have a stock steering skid in the garage. It's pretty worthless for protecting the steering, but it does keep mud and crap from the alternator.

Not rusty, but the hardware went missing a long time ago.

I'll dig it up tonight, I think it has studs to mount to the core support up front, and then some bolts that mounted into the frame by the swaybar. I *might* have the hardware, but I make no promises.

as to price.

buy some raffle tickets for me at the banquet and we'll call it even.

Just ordered a JCR front bumper. So it needs installed as well as change the oil, trackbar, check transftercase fluid and grease front dshaft.
8.8 swap is gunna have to wait.

I'm putting mine under the preverbial "knife" this weekend. Swapping in new Leaf springs, Swapping out t-case for one i've had laying around with an SYE in it, fixing the front steering, and straightening out my front bumper that I spanked a telephone pole with on a very icy morning.

Its gonna be a long, hopefully productive Weekend!
