Keith, called the guy with the mj 44. He says its set for an mj originally, still has SUA perches, but also has badly welded on SOA perches that appear to be for an XJ. He has no clue what gears it has in it. I told him I'd call back if I wanted it, but I'm thinking if you want it, go for it. The 29 spline 8.25 I have should be fine for anything I can throw at it with small tires, you need it more than I do. That and it's about 3 hours away from me, I just don't have time to pick it up.

I 100% will, but I have to find and buy the axles first. that's what this thread is for.

I would definitely pick that up that 44, I just don't really have the patience to drive that many hours for an axle that will just sit in my basement/garage.

some of those prices are insane (used CPS for 40 bucks? 5 at the junkyard, buy 8 and take your chances) but some of em are pretty decent.
