tera 50..brand new unpainted virgin tubes, set up by tera flex for my 1997 xj. 3" dia with 1/2" wall, chevy inner knuckles. Cut to be 61" flange to flange when done with ford 1/2 ton outers. Comes with brand new detroit locker still in box, brand new tera 5.13's, brand new dana spicer spindles and ford outer knuckles and wheel hubs that need some tlc...I'll also throw in some brand new warn premium hubs. paid over $2500 want $1400 or b/o. Wont take much to get going...wife is talkin about kids...no more energy.

Will take $1200 but you pay to ship.....will drive or meet to surrounding states (within reason) Guys this is definitely worth asking questions about

Damn, was hoping you'd say "nope, 5x4.5" Got any pics of this thing?? Are the gears installed already? If not, any chance of sending 'em back to Tera for 4.56s?? Also, educate me about the Tera 50 pumpkin, is it a HP or a LP axle?? Thanks

gears are not installed...everything new in boxes....local shop closed today, but was planning on trying to get him to get me 4.56 's or what ever needed to get rid of this thing. takin a bath but its got to go. It is a high pinion diff housing with monster thick diff cover...made out of cast material about 1/2" thick. bottom of housing is radiused and has about 3/4" more clearance than a d44. tera 50 is an aftermarket d44 and therefore takes all d44 replacement parts. I needed to use chevy inners because of the 3" dia tubing but any 44 outers will fit. i'm not sure but if you really wanted you could probably fit d30 outers with d44 inner axles. I was going with the fullsize stuff because i'm running 37's on my '97....bigger brakes, biggers stub shafts etc. No pictures yet but if need be it can be arranged.

Ok, do me a favor and find out if you can trade the 5.13s and Detroit in for 4.56s and an ARB(just the locker, already have the pump and everything). Also how much TLC are we talkin about on the outers in terms of time and $$. Basically, what else after the initial purchase from you do I need to do/have done before I can bolt this thing in. Also, does it have the brackets on it already for control arms or no? It's gonna take a few favors to pull this off if I do, but I really need a new front axle and don't wanna dump money into a 30. Thanks

Ary

P.S. Does it have any brakes on it of any kind??

Rob, not to intrude, but I'm very seriously looking at this axle. Just FYI

Ary, not to intrude, but looking is just that, looking.
Until money changes hands you are just like the next guy, but with 'dibs', whatever that means.
Just FYI.

Maybe that came off the wrong way. My intention was to inform him that I was in line ahead of him and in the process of negotiating a deal that has now been settled. I know what it's like to get your hopes up about something and have it fall through. That's all I was trying to avoid. Wasn't trying to be a dick.
