Tell me I crazy. They dont have a body lift for a 93 XJ?

Is there any companies that I have missed out there. Im trying to do a less pricey lift (2-3" body and 3-4" susp) in order to fit some 32-33" tires under it. Let me know any info on this subject. Thanks!

Now that they let the cat out of the bag..
You can do 32-33's with the 3-4" suspension without the body lift. You can trim the fenders a little bit which will do the same basic thing (make room for the wheels), but you can run 32's at 4.5" of lift with no trimming at all, no problems. With trimming, you can run 33's at 3" if you really wanted to.

Im new into the 4x4 scene so Im trying to learn. Y'all dont need to make me feel like a dumb ass

ok this was funny as hell. don't feel bad. you hear that question so little that when you do it's still funny.

anyways, let me be the first one here to welcome a newcomer to the 4X4 scene and don't let this little humor get you down. now if your still serious about getting a little air and don't have alot of money, look for a budget boost, or check out www.roughcountry.com for there cheap lifts. you might want to upgrade down the road, but this will be a start. don't be afraid to ask questions. that's how we all started.

Body lift= a spacer that goes between the body and the frame, I.E. lifting the body

I'm a big supporter of the Daystar BB for the XJ. Gives you just under 2", its noticable when parked next to a stock Jeep, it makes 30's look good, and requires no other mods (other then cutting your exhaust tip off becasue of the odd bend at the end). And if you new to the 4x4 scene like me, then its a great start, and you can add to it if you choose to buy a real suspension lift. Look on ebay, they go for under $100 shipped. cseoffroad is where I and 2 friends have bought ours. with no problems.

 Just curious, how long did you look and how frustrated did you get before you were told there is no bodylift? Welcome to NAXJA. One thing to help you along this site is use the search option. There is alot of useful info.

ahh boy. i remember those days. i once asked my dad if he was going to body lift our cherokee and i caught a flying backhand so hard it turned me 3 flips across the driveway into some thorny hedge in the flowerbed. sometimes i wish i could pass that wisdom to others on the net somehow. :lecture:

sorry welcome and enjoy us!

wow, he may never post again.....

Can you imagine if he posted this on pirate4x4.com? His skin is obviously not thick enough for the thrashing he would have received there....

Stick around...your skin will thicken..

It helps.

They're not sorry, but, please...come back.

lol if he posted that on pirate they would ban him. lol. never to return. but there are really easy ways to lift cheap. if you go over 3 inches you have to start replacing things other that just springs or spacers or shackles. 3 inches is pushing it on stock parts. before you do anything, go outside and take a good look under your jeep. belive me it helps so much. i just only got my first rig a little while ago, and no matter how well ppl explain things to you, you wont get it if you dont know what it looks like. over 3 inches you have to replace lower control arms, steering adjustments, track bar adjustments, brake line adjustments, and you will probly want a slip yoke eliminator so your driveshaft dosnt pop out of your transfer case because of the lift. but there are ways around that. go to rustysoffroad.com. they are cheap, and with their own manufactured parts your getting what you pay for, but their coils, springs, spacers, ect are just as good as anyone elses. for a cheap lift for you, get grand cherokee coils (from the 4.0 grand cherokee. the v8 grand cherokee will have stiffer ones) and longer shackles. you can do add a leaf if your rear suspension is weak becasue they will stiffen it up and lift it. trimming fenders will get you more clearance for bigger tires, but if you get bigger tires get rims with more back spacing. the rear axle wont handle anything over 33 inch tires, but the front will. get 32s to be safe and run 4.10 axle gears. please dont start a new thread on what gears to run

I'll say, to be able to launch his fat ass like that, his dad must be Paul Bunyan.
