Tax return goodies

LOL's... thinking you can PLAN that outcome. Remember.. Valentines Day was JUST a month ago.. bet someone has news to share with the group before much longer.

My youngest is 14.. 4 more years and just maybe the nest will be empty. My 22yo may never leave though.. bastard.

I like my approach:

1. Rack up a butt load of college loans & wish I had a Jeep
2. Get married while having absolutely no money & wish I had a Jeep
3. Make the wife work to pay off all my school loans & wish I had a Jeep
4. Knock up the wife a couple times then let her stay home to tend to the young'ns & wish I had a Jeep
5. Finally snap and buy multiple Jeeps, build one up pretty nice .... and wish I had time to wheel

PS - with my tax return this year, I bought a few clayton stickers party1:

you guys got the order of events wrong big time. i'm buying/building my toys now. (i'm 23, just out of college with a secure job :D)

I'm giving myself a little less loan debt.

Sounds like some of you need to adjust your withholdings.
I've actually got mine withholding a little more than I should need. After having to borrow money from my parents one time in college to pay my taxes, I would rather not see that money and not worry about taxes EVER again. That was a feeling I wish to never duplicate.

Agreed. I've got almost all the toys I want in life, to the point that I had to think for quite a while before I could come up with anything I actually wanted for Christmas. Only things I have left before I'll be pretty much set are buying a house, becoming debt free, and finding someone to spend the rest of my life with. We'll see how that goes. Past that, I can't think of anything else I'd really want that I can't build for myself. I spent most of my childhood and high school dead broke, tinkering, and learning to build and engineer things on a very very low budget as a result.

No idea how much I'm getting back on my taxes, not looking forward to doing them AT ALL because they are going to be really complicated this year.

call me a greedy bastard but i've got a list as long as my arm

So the other day I randomly got a 3rd W2 in the mail which confused the hell out of me. Ends up I am getting another $100ish back.

I got 5 new Cragar Soft 8s and centers, lug nuts front and rear brakes, leaf springs and bushings, from Quadratec! Rough Country Long Arm Upgrade, and alignment. And ordered a Tailbone set-up from Detours...non Jeep got a new coffee table and end tables and a new gas range
