T-case drop that doesn't require studs to be replaced (the easy T_case drop))

I'm look for a 1" t-case drop that you can put between the mount and the t-case with out removing and replacing the original mounting bolts. It's the once that is just a small strip of 1" square tube, drilled to fit. Need it right away! Prefer paypal. Shipping is to 80272

do you have a link or a picture of such a thing? I just bought the two metal spacers from rusty's and still had to remove the stud. I don't know how you can drop the t-case wqithout moving the crossmember, which involves removing the studs....just curious if you know of anything like what your asking

I think the only thing that will work is a aftermarket tacse truss/skid with a built in 1" drop. Rusty's and others have them. Otherwise, try to figure out a way to get the studs out. It really isn't tht hard, even it you end up drilling them out and retapping them with a larger thread.

good point, but more expensive....try to remove the studs....It took alot of wiggling back and forth and alot of PB but it eventually came out using vice grips.

The Skyjacker one dosnt need the studs removed. It's only $35 through 4wd hardware and the part #TCL30 for 84-93 and TCL31 for 94-01 cherokees

Is that much faster than, say, a rusty's t-case drop?
i.e. is it worth the extra 15 bucks... mind you my jeep's from Maine (rust belt) and kinda have a short fuse when I'm working on stuff and I get stuck.

I don't know about any of you, but I've yet to pull an XJ crossmember and have both if any of the studs actually stay in the framerail. :viking:

I used the Rusty's drop and my studs came out very easy.
