SYE install

Just a simple question (or two):

* Can i use my stock driveshaft if i install an AA SYE

* Or do i have to buy a new driveshaft too?
And if so, does the kit listed in the bottom of the above link fit my XJ?

1 - No. The SYE eliminates the slipjoint in that stock driveshaft, so you're going to need a new driveshaft with the appropriate upper end.

2 - What kit? The Truspeed? With most SYEs you still retain the original speedometer gear and can change that out fo rthe correct one once you know what your tire size and gear ratio will be.
