SYE & Driveshaft Questions

I'm up-grading from a Dana 35C rear axle to a 29 spline Chrysler 8.25. I'm also thinking about adding a SYE and CV driveshaft, sense I'll have to shorten my existing diveshaft anyways. My XJ is an '88 and the 8.25 is a '99. This is my daily driver,I don't do much hardcore wheeling, but I don't want any problems if I get in a tight spot. So, what would you all recommend? Please keep in mind I'm on a bit of a budget. Thanks in advance for any input, Darin.

Do you have a lift?

If not, there's no need for a SYE. Comes under the heading "Nice but not necessary."
