Superlift ORV Oct 2nd-4th

I will be at the parking lot unloading my rig at 9 a.m. Saturday morning... once unloaded I will simply look for the largest group of XJ's I can find around the campsites/front of park, and assume that is the RRC group. LOL

Thats what I did the time I went there...

Rollin out at 5am..b there at 7:30-8am ready to ride tomorrow! :moon:

got skid plates for the van? i had a blast with ian last year-but man this might take the cake! ha

Hey, I had no skids when I drove my stocker out there. Wait, there still are no skids on it....ggrrrrr.....

Dustin, just by my XJ or FSJ and go trash 'em out there. You still have time. !!!1

hey you guys have fun out there and take tons of pics. i really wish i was headed out there. i need to get to some of these get togethers.

well got the call my jeep is loaded up, i got all my stuff packed up and ready to go! leaving when i get out of meetings should be rolling in around 6:30 if the plan goes well.

I'll be thinking of you guys while I'm sitting at my boss' daughter's wedding and drinking their alcohol at the reception!

Have fun and be safe. No one stick their hands out of the window in an effort to stop their rig from rolling over (or was that at Gilmer?).

Well, you guys be safe out there... on the trails and on your way there and back. I hope there are alot of pictures taken so we that can't make can cry later.

Sorry I couldn't make it this time (the first RRC run I couldn't make).

Had a great day wheeling with StylerG and a few other guys. Even met some NAXJA'ers from the Midwest Chapter. Overall it was a good day. Got my revenge against Rock Fink Ravine.... made it all the way out the other side , even though I did have to winch the last 40 feet or so. Last time I lost a mirror, and got a small dent, and ended up giving up and backing out of it. I may go back tomorrow, it just depends on the weather. I had full intentions of going tomorrow as well, but now the weatherman is calling for a 90% chance of rain, and expects over an inch of rain tomorrow!

Man I got almost all the way there, and Hannah realized she forgot our camera! I was upset, I would pay $500 if I could just have a video of my wheeling rock fink ravine. With the new bumpstops, and those shackle relocators I kicked A$$ on the RTI ramp. We also ran fun run, and a couple other fun trails as well. It was a good time.

StylerG got some pics I think though.

Not good enough... lol.

Not good enough... lol.

i do agree-see if you were there someone would be able to take pictures instead of wheel....

just got the jeep off the trailer, now getting to fix the things that need it (like the rear hatch not opening) and remembering that i wanted to get my jeep back on the rti ramp when i had it in 4wd. Yes in that picture we were just heading out and i had forgot to even put it in 4wd dont really even know if it would make a difference but the thought will haunt me.

on a side note-justin's shackle relocation brackets are amazing! which leaves the thought-do i takea leaf out of my pack to get them, or go higher because after seeing them i must have them

Go higher... thats what I am doing. I have the same brackets... but I will be modifying mine like ExTanker did. I will post pictures when I mod them to show what I did... along with the rest of my rebuild.

How did JR mod his? I really only got about 3/4 of a inch lift out of the relocation brackets, but my shackle is at a much better angle. Much nicer ride, and a lot more flex (especially droop) out of the rear.
