I don't know why everybody swaps out their D35 either. A D30 with a 35 is a solid combo. Several friends of mines old girlfriends brothers cousins former room mates said that they heard is was holding up awesome with 39.5 TSLs.

c-clips reinforce the differential, making it stronger.

I'm waiting for tomken to produce a c-clip retrofit for a dana 60.

I think I am going to stop posting the 30 is the best axle in the world crap before some newbie who thinks jeeps are the best thing in the world and that they only put the best stuff in them for the most hardcore people, comes on here and actually belives what I am saying so just in case here is my disclamier. most everything I have said so far in this thread is bull and is meant as a joke. Yo Beez, azxjboy never wheeled with me or anyone else in that day, as he went off to run what is almost a 2wd trail at this point, with his own bunch of guys he brought along.

I would have respected him had he drug his junk through Highway to Hell after all the crap he was flinging on the net.

I wheeled that trail twice, and others just as hard if not harder, when my jeep was a daily driver. Hell, my wife has driven more of H2H than he has.
