Suck Down Winch

I'll see more benefit on a hill I do believe. Here you go. Over look the mess and the lean. Need to figure that out next.

Also swapped rods in my MC:

Damn forgot to photograph in with the new rod. Grrrr!

Mine is pushed farther forward and turned with the motor to the front. I used the hole in the frame that you have your wires run thru to bolt it to the frame to make some measurements.

It needs to be moved backwards and find a way to mount it. I don't want to weld it in. I guess I could make a plate with 2 studs in it and weld it to the unibody. I don't see why it wouldn't hold.

What I did was use a piece of 4" angle. Cleaned it all up and drilled the holes for the winch mount. Drilled them out with a bigger bit to let them recess into the plate from the top. I then welded them in place. I mounted the angle to the outside of the unibody and tacked it in about 8 or 10 places. Seemed like the best easiest solution.

lol I still haven't touched mind. I did get all the pars tho.

I see you have an SCBA bottle sitting in the back grou d. You gunna make on board air with it?

Thought about it. Tested mine in the rain at URE this weekend. No pictures though bc of said rain.

How'd it work?

I have SCBA Tanks but I just fill them at the Fire Department and have tanks with 4,000psi in them. They last a loooong time before I have to refill them. It took the longest time to find regulators to fit them!

It sucked the front down. ;) I have thought about using it as an air tank with oba. I even set it up with quick release fittings. Never used it though.
