subscribed thread emails

My email setings for subscribed threads is set to NOT send emails about them. However, I keep receiving notifications and its clogging my e-mailbox up. Please help to make it stop. Thanks for the time.

Happened twice so far.

It is like it is subscribing after the fact????????


I keep deleting all the subscriptions and it stops... then it happens.

Just figured it had to do with new sigscription rules!

I'm not sure what made it happen, but your (and my) subscription option got changed. (there might have been a software upgrade that caused it ) Open up your control panel (User CP on the menu bar) and click on edit options. Go down to Default Thread Subscription Mode and from the pull down menu choose Do Not Subscribe. Then click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

I guess someone did it for me. Now it's on the don't subscribe option. Thanks.

I think it was a side effect of the last update to the software. It certainly should not have done that, but it did. :dunno:

it's happened to me several times now, I go to my settings and it still says "do not subscribe" but there are new subscribed threads and emails

Try subscribing then unsubscribing. Be sure to hit save changes each time.
