And it's nice to see that California finally adopted a stupid Law from Utah instead of the other way around for once.

Technically it reads any vehicle that enters an intersection when that intersection cannot be cleared. Basically, when that asshole drives into the intersection when his light turns red during rush hour but he can't get out. Now your light turns green and you can't go anywhere, because that asshole is blocking the intersection.

You seem to have a lot to say about California. Did you forget you still live in Utah? I would rather reside in Cuba than that state. You don't have to worry about "us" coming there. Great rocks but other than that, that state is useless.

Says a lot about a state that just because someone moves there, they instantly have enough pull in the state of Utah to change all of their laws. That's funny.

I have a lot to say about California because I have spent way too much time there and seen some of the most oppressive, over-regulated, stupid laws in the country.
I quit my last job just so I didn't have to go back.

what pisses me off is all the other lifted chevys, fords and dodges that are jacked up 10in with 44s stickin 3ft out the side with no flares or flaps and cops just look the other way but they seem to write tickets left and right on jeeps. WTF is up with that? damn near every new fullsize truck being manufactured today has 75% of the tire tread showing and they dont come with mudflaps, nor will any cop ever issue them with a ticket. not all cops are bad, but its like everything else the dicks make you all look bad.

I could ask you the same thing. Personally, I've had several family members and friends move to Texas and Colorado. My BIL and sister are talking about moving to Arizona with my in laws and us. That's if we don't go to Nevada.

We make fun of the Mormons too, but the biggest sport here is to make fun of all the out of staters and their totally ridiculous impressions of Mormons and what they are. It amazes me how uninformed people can be.

Your right this state does suck and I am not angry. I am a little torqed that everytime someone has an issue and it starts with CA, there is a horde of people that start in with CA. Then when it involves Cops, then it's worse. I have held the hands of fallen officer's when they have died. I have comforted the family of fallen officer's. I am retired, my brother is still a cop in Fresno. I have hundreds of friends who are cops. It really hits home, when some a-hole is pissed because he got a ticket. But they never seem to acutally think about what a cop's job is and what we go through.

By the way, I am retired because I got injured during an armed robbery where the victim was a guy that called me every name in the book two days prior when I gave him a ticket. I lost my career protecting this guys' life. Did he say thank you? Yes, he went to my retirement ceremony and cried during his speech about what I did for him.

I come from a family of LEO's. I don't have any problems with the cops that enforce the laws that are written. What I do have a huge problem with is some of those laws. When it comes to California it's worse.

I drive for a living and although I don't any longer I used to drive through all the lower 48 and Canada. I could never figure out why a speeding ticket that would cost me 50-80 dollars in most states would be 400-600 dollars in California. Same with log book tickets or any other ticket. I don't understand the reasoning behind a fine thats not only double or triple the cost of everywhere else but sometimes as much as ten times the amount.

Another reason I think when it comes to laws and peoples hatred for California and what you say about people coming down so harsh is the fact that California seems to have a way of setting precedent with laws. A good example of this is the third lane restriction for semi's California started it and now I see it all over the country. There is no good reason for this law in most states. California has it's reasons...mainly their stupid 55 mph speed limit for trucks but in most reasonable states that do not have split speed limits they are starting to impose this too.

Emission laws...started in Ca, now working their way through the rest of the country. I could go on and on about this but you get my point.
