Strike Two: Jeep vs Semi

Supposed to be getting my parts tomorrow and my laser work friday. Anyone who wants to make the drive can come over saturday to join in on the complete build up.... lol
 
if i wasnt wheeling sunday id come over for the weekend! lol

taking bets on how long this one will last....... lol
 
Nice ben... lol Got my bilsteins today. 14 inch travel up front, 12 out back. I will be taking a hole saw to the front fenders and bringing the shocks up through to clear. Im excited. Gonna clean a whole bunch of parts tomorrow and start paint prep.

SATURDAY MORNING

Hey whats going on there NAXJA folks. pretty new to the site, but got on and wanted to share what Leadfoot (Insanity Fab) redrider2911 (NAXJA) have been up to the last few days/nights. hope you guys like the shots and the build up. We are building his and my xj with parts he and I helped design. We will be at the Puallup swap meet this 13th. Here are some parts that will be going onto his jeep today. We should be starting on it soon. As soon as everybody wakes up and gets here. Here are some of the parts and pieces.

1.25" solid hex, 7/8ths hiem, crossover steering.

and the rear all in place with a fresh set of bilstein 5125's. should have about 4.5" of shock up travel, will have to adjust bump stops.

dibs on the hood mounted tranny cooler.


lol speaking of that, I want to put a bigger cooler in this jeep. Has anyone heard of plumbing the AC cooler as a tranny cooler? Just a thought

Are those shock tabs going to be enough (for your style driving) to hold the shock in place?

The shock tabs ARE going to need to be reinforced. They will hold for the street driving it sees now since naches district will be closed till JUNE! The teaser shots are the best! You can give it a complete look over at the swap meet tomorrow.
