Anyone in the New England area with some good trails for stock XJs? Mine's pretty much stock and I'm bored of running around these dirt trails with the occasional rock and mud puddle. I'd be free most of the time over the summer if anyone wants to point me in a direction or something.

You can check out some trails in templeton. As far as I know they are legal but I haven't gone in a long time. You would want to PM Striptide. He knows all the trails in that area. As for the eastern part of MA there is nothing. Further into NH you would want to pm Robs95xj he is up in Keene NH. Further into maine you should be able to find just about anything.

Also this doesn't go here. :)

In NH there are at least 5 unpaved notches. Sandwich and Jefferson are two off the top of my head. Fun is you never know what to expect for washouts etc...several good logging roads. Rec area off Bear Notch rd. etc...Rivers are currently a bit swift right now. A week or to they should settle down. (providing no major rain)

edited: Soon my new (to me) xj will be ready to try out (stock to). I do plan on going "in search of" good places. Havent had the
opportunity til now. I know enough people to ask and enough areas to check out that I should be able to come up with something interesting. Cant remember how many times I wished I had a 4wd to check out some places. Will backtrack and do now. I've heard rumors of a back service road behind a local ski mountain (you can get to the top) but I want to check on legalities first. Also heard of many 'short cuts' to get from one area to another but a 4wd is a must. Will post once I get better (hands on) info. The part right now that sux is I have no one to go with so will be solo and I have NO recovery gear! (can you say AAA to the rescue!) :(
