still no sound from speakers

Im gonna try and make this short, I thought both my front speaker wires were cut somewhere so I started taking stuff apart tested them out on the stock infinity unit with a test wire and they still sounded like shiot so it was the speakers after all, so I got some decent Sony 5.25's and installed them in the front doors, while I was at it I thought I would throw in an old aiwa headunit I had until I can get a newer kenwood, I had no harness so i started to hardwire it in and got power and all that hooked up but could not get any speakers to work, I got a wiring diagram online and still nothing, I had a spair speaker and tried that on every set of wires coming off the headunit and they all work, I put the stock one in and everything works. Im stumped why the speakers wouldnt work, Ive checked the aiwa and all balance and fade or right. Any ideas

if you have the factory infinity system you need to hook up the aamp turn on wire, i believe it is green w/ orange stripe, hook this up to either the red wire on the deck or if you have it its better to hook it up to the blue w/ white stripe.

WOW thanks I guess I never thought of that as an actual amp like I would use for subs, I will definately try that tomorrow sometime.
