St. Louis contingent: Anyone up for St. Joe's this weekend?
Ill be there, probably Sunday afternoon So if anyone if interested, we should set up a meeting place or time or something.
Is there anyone esle here from the Lou?

I'm in Wentzville, but new to the area... what is at St Joe's?

Well, That trip didnt work out, so we are planning another for a couple of weeks from now. I'm not shur what is at the park, we will find out for surw when we get there, but I know the have like 400 acres of off road areas and sand flats.

Yeah, you're probably better off going to Rockport. I think St. Joe's is mostly set up for ATV's. If you have friends with TJ/YJ/CJ Jeeps, they'll have to wear a helmet at St. Joe's unless they have a hard top.

Whats Rockport? I am always looking for Ideas for trips. Yeah I knew about the helmet thing, my buddy has a Samurai and He need a helmet. Are there any other good Off road parks around? Any opinions onthe Sayerbrook ranch for instance?

Sayersbrook is great, but it's not really an offroad park. You can't just show up and wheel, but there are scheduled MWJT events there from time to time. It's a real working bison ranch, if you've ever had a bison burger from Trainwreck, that's where it came from. They also just started selling bison meat at Schnucks grocery stores.

One big event is coming up, Jeepstock. Meals are provided, onsite primitive camping (no showers), two days of guided wheeling, and quite a few raffle prizes. Everything from stocker trails to 9's.

More info here.

St.Joe State park is outside of Farmington / Park Hills, MO.
there are trails in the woods, but no vehicals are allowed up there. only ATV's/dirtbikes. Alot of sand!

I haven't been to rockport yet but I hear some good things about it.

I have been to the Bison ranch and it is quite interesting if you have never been before. I will be going to Jeepstock as a participant. :bunny:
