sqaure driveshaft?? anyone?

the one thing you can't judge from text is tone.

I'm not mad. But, I assumed you were. This is rediculous.

I really do want to hang out in Attica. Because, I know we'll all have a blast and make new friends. Gil you are hilairious...do you want to argue and insult each other for a couple hours tomorrow night? :)

Financial ability has NOTHING to do with running a square shaft...

Playing the "I'm too broke to build a round shaft" is BS...

Sometimes being "easier to build" and "cheaper" isn't "better"...

But you already knew that right?

Hey Gil... Just because you toss thousands of dollars at your rig and try to find the most expensive way to do everything is no reason to attack others. :D

No.

In order to properly insult and argue with this asshole you either pony up for membership and visit the Den or attend TFT'05 in Chicago (see MWC forum)

I'm hoping to debut Barrio Fabwork's square High Flow Air Tube then...

I figure the 90* corners will cause a beneficial turbulence and increase my performance by at least 20hp...

Did I mention it's cheap too?

It will be available in multi-ply tinfoil or galvanized gutter material...

The prototype itself is being milled out of a billet chunk of Titanium for testing purposes...

pics soon

You noobs either need to give up the defensive struggle or accept the fact that none of the old timers are gonna allow you to get the last insult on us.

I hope all of the dewds that are so offended by the slasher wit, can come to Winterfest and prove their worth at the campfire.

On the square DS front, if you have the time and money to build a square shaft, then you have the time and money to build a round one.
I was once too poor to buy a sweet-ass TW shaft.
So I shortened a Bronco unit.

Anyway, good luck with the struggle and I hope to see you all in Attica in February.

I've given up three times now

I prefer to prove worth on the trails

let's not forget that I didn't condone the use of a square shaft. I suggested using a front DS in the rear. Before all this came about, we were on the same side.

I wouldn't miss it for the world. :)

Good answers, all, except for the proving your worth part.
To wheel off-road only proves you can steer and push a gas pedal around obstacles.
To prove one's worth to the MWC, well that takes a campfire and a bottle of tequilla, and a few bails of hay, and helping me find my glasses which are in my pocket the whole time.
Oh yeah, and boobs.
When we trust you to let you spot one of us, that's when you know your worth has been proven.

He said he doesn't condone (he doesn't approve of it) the use of a square shaft.

and Mac Guvyer doesnt condone the use of the frankenspare...

except in extreme circumstances - like when rock crushing strength is needed

That's your rig in the pic Gil? Nice. I'd like to see pics after you took the sawzall to it too.

Motion to have xjrubicon91 provide a square tube driveshaft for the WinterFest raffle

Hey, I can't fabricate worth poo. But I do have a spare rubicon Express DS lying around that fits about a 7" lift w/ the SYE AA kit that I could bring.

I'd love to earn your trust enough to spot you. I've been involved w/ Jeep Jamboree for the past couple of years (trail guiding up on Drummond Island) and I'm no stranger to spotting. I've spotted many noobs driving stock Libertys though rock gardens, so I'm sure I'd be able to give anyone a run for their money!

I think I might cry. It made it to page 8 and I missed all the good opportunities to be an a$$hole.

I didn't care for the schedule 120 pipe cage...

It wasn't helping save the body...

How do you like it in rustoleum white?
