speedometer gear

Hi,
I swapped TC fm NP242 to Dana300 and now cruising speed is not shown correctly in my XJ'90.

I've checked Quadratec but there is no long shaft gear for 33" tyres & 4.11 R&P.

Can short shaft gear be used instead - 35?

Figure the tooth count and hit Ebay. It'll probably take more than one to get it on the money.

thx, purchased from eBay with long shaft - 35 tooth speedometer gear.

Well well, the 35 tooth speedo-gear is not correct for D300 - so I was told recently.
A question - where can I find a proper speedo-gear for D300 unless there is another way to have the speed shown correctly on 33".

831_xj - thx for a link, Q though - have you used it in your XJ ?
on the other hand it states on their www "..SGI-5 is intended to correct only the signal feeding the electronic speedometer.."

Yes it works with the xj. I'm going to be using it with my 241or since it's from a jk which uses its speedometer readings from the front axle

There are a few other options but the Dakota is the cheapest option.

confirmed with Dakota Digital - it will not work with my XJ'90 & d300. Below reply from DD.
