Speedo gear install problem...

I have a 41 tooth speedo gear for my 4.88's and 33's and i went to install it and the gear is too big? ANyone else have this problem? Is there an alternate part number? Its a 91...

It should go in...you just have to play with it a little.


Put it in with the electrical end of the sensor. all at once...then you'll have to CLOCK it.

You have to rotate the housing to match up within the number stamper on it. The housing centre, that holds the gear, is offset so when you rotate it is moves in and out from the primary gear inside the box. See my site for pictures of an install.
