Speedo gear $85!!!!!!!!!!

What gears, tires, tranny and speedo gear? When I went to 30" BFG AT on my '96 (AW-4 and 3.55 gears) the speedo was dead on. That means that in stock form, the actual speed was lower than the actual speed. I'm sure that's designed however to prevent "negligent speeding" lawsuits from coming back after the manufacturer.

32x11.5 with 3.55s and an AW4 not sure what speedo gear is in there stock but its still in there

Well I finially got around to doing this. I called the dealer again to see what they were running these days and they wanted over $90 now!! Quadratec had them for $40-ish and was about $50 with shipping. I ordered it a month or 2 ago and then found out they were on backorder. Ugh, great. I kept the order placed and forgot about it. Little brown padded envelope came the other day and there it was. Popped it in and it's spec on with my gps.

At that price if you have ODB II you might want to consider getting something like the scangauge II. You can set it up to display your corrected speed. Plus you get a all the other cool things it can do.

Doesn't that piss you off? You finially find a thread that has a similar problem, start reading through the process only to find out the thread dies cause the OP found the solution and didn't post the results!

That's a good price, especially if he has them iin stock. I've ordered parts from him before with good experiences. Looks like he's expanded his lineup..

i just picked up a 40 tooth on ebay for $9.99. this guy has a few more other tooth counts as well.

I picked up a 31 and 33 tooth last year for about the same cost.
i'll be selling these shortly after i get the D44 geared
