Speakers in a 2door

Hi, Im looking to put some speakers in the back of my 2 door. I was thinking about doing something in the rear cubby cupholder thing right next to the rear seats. I dont have a speaker bar so I dont have that option. Does anyone have pics of where they've put there speakers? or have any ideas. THANKS I dont know if this is the right place :roll:

This is indeed the right forum.

If you have a wrecking yard nearby or access to one, rear speaker bars can be had for relatively cheap. The last one I saw here they only wanted $15 for it.

You might also consider mounting them in the rear hatch or rear cargo side panels...

I had some 6X9s mounted in the rear hatch but after getting rid of it I made some panels out of MDF and used self tapping screws to secure them to the rear cup holder area...

...sounds a lot better with the wind jammer off though.

You'll probably find that there are the wiring pigtails in the hatch - if it's got louvres in the plastic hatch facing, speakers were to be fitted behind them. If that makes any sense...

and yes junk yards will have rear speaker bars.

fish around you should have Wireing allready there.
