Spare Tire Canyon

I was wondering if anyone on here has ran Spare Tire Canyon in an XJ. I hear that it is extremely tight and there is a big risk of taking out the rear windows. I might run the Fr-42 trail with some guys on Sat. morning and wanted to know of any thoughts from the guys that have run it. Also if it is doable...any XJ's wanna join the trip?

Spare tire Canyon is way doable in an XJ. I've run it many times. There is really only one spot that is tight, but with proper positioning, you'll squeeze through.

something to look forward to??? I havent made it down there yet...i didn't get the chance to go last time, so now I waiting for anotgher group to go so I can tag along.....we'll see!!!
