material was super cheap though, and will be cake to make with his template. he'll have about 50 bucks into it with welding/plasma consumables.

True but he should take into consideration that the deep shame he'll feel while crying in the shower after having to let you slip the tip in again.

his copay on the xanax is still cheaper than that truss.

Looked at the Artec truss, and was seriously considering it. Then I called them and spoke to Artie (guessing he is the guy in charge) Their truss is only 30 7/8" wide, whereas the XJ perches are more like 41" apart. Didnt want to drop that kind of coin, to still have to modify it to my liking.

It is a good design, I just feel they are trying to do too many things with the same truss. ( Truss is likely narrow to accomodate the TJ coil perches)
