I had a great time. Met some cool people and pushed my Cherokee to the limits on the Bullfrog Trail in Johnson Valley. This event is what NAXJA is all about. I just posted this, and it may not show until later tonight.

Turn up your volume, put on your seatbelt, and go 4 wheeling with us

Yea it was a SoCalXJ event, but whatever he came and took pics and had fun. Times must be hard, not many people showed up, but I had fun today out at Big Rock and a Mine. Saturday I skipped the run to make sure no one stole our camping spot.

Damn youtube got him in under an hour.

They disabled several of mine.

Parker's axle snapped...D35 or 8.25?

Yea I couldnt swing KOH and the Jambo being so close. Sad I missed it

The low numbers were due to timing, and there was nothing you can have done about that.
Two weeks ago we spent a week in JV for the KOH race, last week was Truckhaven and this weekend I promised my wife a sand dune trip.

sorry I missed it boys.
Don't think I didn't want to go there though.

What a trip! I had a blast and I want to thank everyone who ran the trail with me for helping my gimpy a## out. Paul for letting me use his highlift and lending a hand, Mike G for jumping in and getting dirty with me, Gary for being the anchor so my jeep did not roll back and for lending a hand, Mike K for letting me use your drawer slider to try and knock the broken stub out and for winching/tugging me a few times, Carol, MJR and Andy for the entertainment and moral support :).

Yes I did break a Dana 44 shaft attempting the line Mike said no one had ever tried. The shaft fell out about 300 yards after it broke, the bearing gave up the ghost and the retainer came off the axle which let it slide out. Unfortunately I run 4.88's so I was not able to pull the cross pin with the carrier still in the axle allowing me to pound the broken stub out. Oh well I had a blast and want to thank everyone again for helping me out and making sure I was off the trail. I want to especially make it a point that nobody left while I was working on the jeep, they stayed the whole time and made absolutely certain I was off the trail in a good spot to come back and get my jeep with the truck. Mike G even gave my g/f and I a ride back to camp to get my truck. Once again great group and a great time.

I will be back to try that line with a set of alloys.

Oh my! You were the entertainment for the day. Gravity was both your friend and your foe. I had a great time watching you wheel and it was a pleasure meeting you both. I would have gotten greasy with you but all I'm good for is dropping fasteners and losing parts.

Glad you got your junk out safely and thank you for making that long drive just to let us know you were safe.

Post up your pics soon. Can't wait to see them.

Sweet video I especially like the end with that hunk of junk gold jeep having to be babied back to camp. I hear that his little brother is goin out and showin him up with stock axels:rattle:, how a real jeep does it (murdered out) haha. Looked like it was a fun trip I wish I could have made it but the last thing that trip needed was another person that can walk out there breaking there jeep haha.

It looks like we have a couple of new Temeculans on here. We should have a Temecula meet and greet at Wahoos at overland and margarita!
