So, what is my Jeep worth

Yeah, i agree on the economy thing. It has certainly had an impact on some folks, but not on all..... In the off road community, there are some that are just wealthy, and the kink on the economy isnt doing much to hurt the toys they can buy.

The new challenger kicks ass, my brother just bought an SRT8 last weekend, and it is a hooooot to drive!

As far as 15k, dude, I will let the guy give you a reach around!! ROFL!

He's getting rid of his Charger SRT8 and getting the Challenger SRT8 (add SC) or a Viper. not a bad life in this economy.

If it weren't for the economy where its at, i'd be on the ~12k line too. I don't think you'll see much more than that.

And yeah, ebay is the best venue probably.

It is worth what someone will pay you, start high and see what happens. E-bay
Race dezert, Jeepspeed and Craigslist are good sites and you might just find the guy that has to have it.

My 2 pennies have been added....Good luck.

Cool, I am not expecting to go that high, although somewhere around 9 or 10 would be awesome!

I am sure there is more...but that is where it starts

Tony, just so you know....6k was nearly ungettable for mine. And that was over a year ago when the economy was better. I would really be suprised if you got anywhere near 9-10k.

I think 5k would be robbery.
I think 7k would be acceptable.
I think 10k would be "reach around" time.

i recently paid $1500 for a 96 with 90k miles, 35s, detroits f&r, 488s dynatrac 44 rear with chromo shafts and disc brakes, bushwhackers, deaver coils and leaves, long arms, tom woods driveshafts and AA sye, k&n FIPK, and it was clean....then i got a hold of it....

just giving you some perspective on todays cherokee market.

The way I figure the value on my junk is add up low blue book, all the parts cost only[no labor charges or personal time] and divide by 2. If anyone can get that they are lucky.

If we're going off Bens pricing, I will throw mine out there.....2000 with 78k, 4.88's, ARB's, 5.5in RE lift, 33's, ford 8.8 and HP30, bushwhackers, winch and bumper, all for the low price of $1000.00. Mine had a broken bell housing, but well worth it, and I may have sold most of the parts off it to buy secret jeep parts :D

I guess I got ripped off :tear:

My guess is, yours is still driveable and not parked in a garage with no transmission in it. You're probably not waiting for a pump because the ears broke off and left you stranded on the side of the 210 fry. If yours didn't do this, then you got the better deal....:D
