i know a couple of people that have had 5.9 grands...they are pretty sweet i think. they do look good with 2in lift and 265s on them. if the front d30 hasn't been rebuilt, i will almost guarantee that it needs bearings, something about those 5.9 zjs...does the drivers side heated seat work? that's usually the first thing to go...
my neighbor has one thats just sitting around his house, not sure what is wrong with it, i know he bought it about 2 years ago with 120k for a smokin deal. the way its sitting around, something tells me something is wrong with it...i keep waiting for a couple extra $$ in my pocket and i'm gonna go see what's up with it...

Yep no seat heat but just on the drives side. Axles were rebuilt just before I got it. The sun roof won't open. The 249 is junk and will be swapped with a 242. Other then that it is in great shape! No rips in the leather. No headliner sag. I'm very happy. I just hope after a few mods it will tow my XJ (trailer brakes, anti sway, lite trailer, anti vibration tongue, and air bag/shocks on the rear)
Installing a Flowmaster in the XJ. First time...let you know how it goes.
having trouble finding a noise in my rig. at first i thought it was a frnt right wheel bearing. it was making alittle noise going straight and a loud noise curving left. but going right it went away. now its super loud all the time but only at 35 mph. i took he wheelbearing off and it not loose and when i spin it its super smooth. hmm. oh well.
ill just drive it til something falls off.
Every single interior body panel is rattling in this cold weather.
**Turns up radio**
Did you check the u-joints up front in the axle shafts? Just did one on a buddy's truck. Front right. With the truck in park, wheels straight, grab one half of the axle shaft and try rotating it. If the joint is bad, you'll see and feel some play.
Not saying thats what it is, but merely suggesting something else to check since the noise is getting worse.
