I've been cleaning up the 'new' truck today. It was definitely a work truck, but I've never been one to have a shiny new vehicle. The PO of our house was kind enough to leave a diamondplate truck toolbox behind the shed, so today it found a new home in the Chevy.

I need to make a junkyard run to Liberty soon to pick up some interior bits and a tailgate.

we had snow when i posted it. but no snow now. now ive got a wheelbearing to replace in the jeep.

haha that would suck, but fortunately i am flying to denver, co then renting a car (hopefully a jeep, most likely a patriot or compass). so when i get back into town i will tackle that problem

Since the Jeep is literally falling apart I have quite the list.

-straighten out/reinforce LCA brackets on front axle
-replace alternator
-replace serp belt
-replace wheel hub/bearing assembly

It always seems that cold weather (0 degrees) brings out the worst in a vehicle.

Got the new cb and antenna installed today, a bit daunting with the weather and the fact I was cutting a one inch hole in the roof to mount it, but seems to be working just fine, now I just need to find an swr meter to get it all tuned up. Tomorrow change the oil and check the fluid in the rear diff... looks like the nosecone seal is leaking a titch.
