Well, I have finally decided to rebuild at least the head, if not the entire 218k '89 4.0 I have in the MJ. Can anyone recommend a solid machine shop in between Long Beach and Downey?

Does anyone have any recommedations for good replacment lifters, springs, valves, etc.? I do not intend to hop it up, but since it'll be apart I may as well use quality materials.

My wife will not be pleased with this decision. :twak:

I've never had them rebuild a head but Vellios in Lawndale treated me well when I needed a head checked for cracks.
