So, i have this extra 1990 XJ 4x4 Laredo.. my current jeep is a 1995. so most of the stuff under the hood is no good to me. i have gutted and cleaned the interior and put it all back in, and bed lined the back area. I didnt know what to do with it at first, I wouldnt mind selling it, for the right price of coarse, It IS rust FREE.. But now im thinking about it more and more, i could use the whole front end off it, other body panels for mine, and even use the doors to make half doors. maybe some one has some ideas?

Fix the ignition problem and use it to race autocross

cut the rear fenders out way to hell, pull the doors out, cut the roof off, gut it , put a cage on it, a 2" BB and some 35s , weld the rear(put whatever you can find, 8.8, 9". etc and put lockright up front, giant piece of 5/16 for a belly pan, and call it done.
thats what you should do thats what i would do .

i dont want the front axle in it.. its the d30 with the vac disco sleeve. I like your thinking though, some of it at least. If I do any axle swaps, im just going to go 1 tons, full cage, fuel cell. remove any and all emissions equipment. maybe even do a v8 swap down the road. and i want a 5spd. But thats just another possibility on my list.

look what i picked up yesterday. Thanks Blondejoncherokee. I has made its self into a temporary paper weight while i search out a good rebuild kit.. The internals where very clean. minus the gear oil. Maybe ill put my other ax-15 into the white cherokee.
