so... I was out in la quinta doing a show on friday.... WTF was with that wind/sand storm... is that normal for you people?

it made things very difficult for us.

nah... I did not bring the XJ.

the event was a private wedding at the madison club. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

there are supposed to be 10- 15' towers with lighting on them as well, but we couldn't put them up until after 4am when the wind died down.
 
Looks like that rear locker is working well out there.

Yea works good in 2wd in the washes I love it!

That pic was on the trail that I made off the side of "articulation hill" when I had only my front locker, Scott technically made it but he went down it. I took the big boy route and went up.

Looks like lots of people have been doing it since I was last there cause its not as technical/looks like a trail from all the traffic.

and the morning sun going up it was a bitch too!

Well, the family and I went up to Crab Flats for a little camping and fire road wheeling. It was a last minute trip, sitting home board at 5pm on Thursday, sweating, and thought let's get out of here. So sorry for the lack of an invite. We had a good time and I was amazed at how maintained the fire roads are up in san bernard mountains, they might as well be paved. Nice to be in the mountains, none the less. I don't know if anyone saw us cruising around but if you saw a white xj with fire coming from the engine that was me! :banghead: I am getting to the point that I want to go drop 500 on a griffin! On the way out of town I was running with the heater blasting and still sitting at 235! It would even creep up to 240 at times! I don't know what to do next, the radiater shop said all was good except my fan clutch so I replaced that and it doesn't feel like it blows any more than the last one did. Any ideas? I am thinking about trying a tranny cooler, maybe a setup like Aaron1.

On a side not I did change my injectors and have seen a 2-3mpg increase and the motor fires up on the first crank. It coughs for a couple seconds after but I believe that to be related to resetting my ecm post injector install and it is still relearning the motor. They say it takes 50 starts to find its average. Plus I did it right before big bear so I am sure the elevation change confused it a little.

We had a good time camping! It was the first time with Lylah and that was a challenge, but great none the less. We had our dog with us too and so I think in the future we'll stick to one critter per trip! :D
