So Cal desert rats

Yeah, i'm planning to go with a 6.5" long arm lift soon. Hoping i can get by with my 3.5" and 33's until then.

Yea they'll work, may rub a little.I run a 4" on both my jeeps. When you getting this? Who you getting it from? I want to help install it.If you want hit me up back channell

There is a set of 5 33" KM1's i'm looking at, waiting for pics to determine condition (supposedly 70% tread). If i don't get those, i will be getting new Goodyear Kevlars.

The lift will come later (hopefully within a couple months), and if you want to help with that, I'm sure i could use it.

I am in on helping with the lift too! :) I'll bring the beer and my two big guns just incase!

6.5" long arm sounds nice are you looking at a kit or are you going to peice it together?

Probably a kit, not sure yet though. i might go with the Rough Country kit for $1500, seems like a great deal and i've heard good feedback.

But i got to charge you. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM lets say 1 can of pepsi max.Does this sound fair?

Don't sell yourself short Scott, it's worth at least 2 cans!

Good luck with the tires. Look for cracks on the sidewalls and tread area.

yeah, i'm a bit hesitant, so unless they look perfect im probably just going to buy new.

Paul - hate to hear about bad luck, it never comes one at a time either! When it rains it poors! However this should mean that you are getting it all done with and out of the way before the season!

Now that's the attitude, it worked out for the best. It's a DD for Us, and We've needed it for long trips lately. And it's been up to it.

I volunteered today for one of my gf's patients who had hospice and is bed ridden let me just tell you I rather work on a car outside with no shade in the heat! Not my field what so ever... I do feel a little good about myself though :) I think tomorrow I'm gonna take a seat out of the jeep and see what it's gonna take to get the new ones in, I'm tired of looking at them in my bed room!

Ryan sold his jeep, he was by yesterday and a the guy with him offered him a deal he didn't/couldn't refuse i guess.LOL. Glad to see he got it all done and now he can BUY a real jeep if his wife will let him.LMFAO, cause we know this isn't going to happen. One more to get done here and then i can start on getting more parts jeeps going.I'll get the 2 door moved and get it cut up for the parts i want and call the junk man to haul it off.

I can do it then if you want to come by and check it out.It only takes about a half hour to do one right. Hell we can cut yours off too.LOL.I got a saw you know.Just hit me with a time you can come by and i'll show you how easy it is to do. I got a set of spare doors, we can make you a set of half doors.I'll let you drive mine so you see how they feel to drive with them.

Well the weekend is over, back at work.....which means I get to play on naxja again! :) I got a laundry list worth of stuff done on my XJ thanks to Curt! Buzzed off some screws that were making minse meat of my tires, fixed a stripped lugnut, relocated my front brake lines, and even got hooked up with some new two points on the front end! Thanks Curt!

Glad we were able to get those things knocked out...

Got done with the bumper & shocks and the starter goes out. :( Decided not to run the tire carrier unless need be. So I readjusted the rear suspension for the loss of weight. Done for now.:sunshine:

Paul can you do the old indian trick of arching the starter or solenoid ??
