So Cal desert rats

Does anyone in the area happen to know a dentist that does good work for a good price? My company doesn't offer dental insurance and I went and got a check up last Friday and for what they quoted me I can re-gear and cage the jeep at the same time... So I'm kinda over that! But I have a tooth that has been broken for a few weeks that just chipped again this morning that I really wanna get fixed ASAP cause now its starting to hurt... :( does anyone have the hook up besides going to Mexicali?

Does Ryan know spanish ?? Actually if you went to Algadones I bet you could walk... maybe a 1/4 mile and find 5 dentists within a stones throw who spoke english...

Photoshopped the tire (33") in for scale, too lazy to lift it up there. Thanks again for the help, Curt.

I'm glad it's configured the way you want it now...

Sooo did you actually paint the ammo can green or is that your handy work ??

*** HEY ! the light fixture... it looks to have smaller pins...

Actually I was thinking the fuel can should be on the drivers side...:D

Yeah I painted it. Some Lady hit it saying " I didn't see it":wierd:. You can see some of the left over damage in front.

Shoot, I forgot to look. Filed, brushed, sanded and painted most of the day.

Went out an used the leaf blower on the jeep, LOL, it looked like a dust storm went thru my yard.I can now see the radio again. Now i can start on the rear doors and get them ready for the next trip up to BB(sept).
The wife wants to go up an get some rocks, so if you guys want to go on a LAZY/EASY run up to G M let me know if you want to tag along.I plan on taking the wifes jeep this time cause my steering is gotten so bad i have a hard time keeping it in my lane, HWY 62 was fun in the corners.

I had to clean before i started today.Leaf blower works great when it is this dirty.LOL

I'm very happy with the look of them now. A little body work and they'll be done. I may add inside door handles at a later time

Looking good scott... Got my power steering pump installed. New lines, new pulley. Autozone let me borrow their pulley installer when I picked up the new pulley. Got the lines and pump from napa.

PS... Remind me not to do this at 3pm next time.

Dude i told you i have a cool garage to use.You just had to drive over with no power steering.Glad you got it done, does it feel better?
Thank you, i got to finish the painting on the other door and the i can start on the big stuff.

I couldn't have driven it to you, the pump was in bad shape... After I removed it there were metal shavings all over the place along with the fluid. I was planning to wait til tonight when it cooled off, but I couldn't help myself.

Feels great so far... Need to get out on the trails to stress test it.

OK, thats fine but i just can't see killing yourself working in the sun when i got a garage with a cooler in it.This is why i put the cooler in there, so we can work on our junk.Hell i think i have had most of the desert folks over here with there jeeps to be worked on.LOL

Shit you guys need lives... I'm away from this thing for 2 weeks and I'm hundreds of posts behind?
Looks like BB was fun. I'll try to join you cats as soon as I can catch up here. Definitely need some tires and to fix that DW first. Anyone need any metal work done, let me know. I'll be stuck at home for a while.

skid plate for mine would be nice, but i spend all my money on offroading. More fun this way.LOL
So how are you doing? Drive you heep out here and we can fix it. Use a tape an check your alim out, it got to be around 1/4" i think.Start there an work your way in.LOL. Start Here / 1/4 \.

I used my leaf blower on the motor area and i was moving around when i lowered it down an it hit the RAD grill on the front, A bunch of chit came flying out of that area behind by the fan.So i did the the front real good inside and out, i just went for a drive up the hill on I-10 just out of indio, dam jeep stayed 195/200 all the way to the top, it did hit 210 after i got off, but i had to wait for like 10 trucks to go by.By the way i have my doors on and the A/C running full tilt, it was cold in there with that R12 being filled up .BURRRRRRRRRRRRR
I am ready to go anywhere now.As soon as i get the steering fixed.
