I'm thinking of just making it a flat trailer I don't really have the time like I thought I did to make it what I want, but I got some tricks up my sleeve for it but no tent trailer...

Tone can you get the measurements of the axle size you need? Then we can check this one i have laying here. Without the numbers i can't do anything.I won't sell you a axle that doesn't fit or work.
You need the measurements of the hangers.How wide are they.Rail to rail.The other ones can be cut and rewelded if need be

Curt i have some leafs from a stocker. They are on the 2 door parts jeep i got.You can look at them when you come by to see if thats what you need.I have no need for them myself, so if you can use them you can have them. They can be trade for the bushing i got from you a year ago ok?

I might have a line on something real soon... if not we'll talk.
As to the trailer...
I just want to get Phase One done...

The axle is only in there temporarily... new perches/plate/U-bolt are in the mail... it all needs to come apart to get the ride height down also... then shocks... Richard has some trim like what I have now... design a rear bumper... get the stickers off it... then get it registered... THEN THEN THEN !!

I hear Ya Bro. AJ lives in Utard, and I hope to get Him to be a guide for a weekend. It'd be cool if We could plan a trip for Us.

Paul if i go i want to go for a week.You are looking at 12 to 14 hours of driving one way.This is way to long for me to only do a weekend run.LOL. I know if i go it will be with the jeep on a triler and staying in the notel hotel for us.Would cost the same as using a motorhome and camp site. Trucks are easier to drive on the backroads.Plus i would get 16 MPG with the diesel truck

I like a scenic southern route going... lots of two lane stuff... actually I like it coming back also... then these's the interstate thing if you don't like the sites...
Still two going & coming makes sense... AND there's TONS of trips in between also... Just time & money. Part of the reason I want to build a trailer... :thumbup:

Yeah, exactly. Too far for a couple days. Olivia & Todd live there, I haven't seen them since 95'. So when I can I'd like to go out, see them and the Kid's (most married now) and wheel at Moab with My Nephew and My Friends. Be Cool if We could try to get a bunch of Friends to meet at a pre- determined place and time. AJ's been wheeling there for years, it's what He, His Wife and His Friends do...Like Us.

Went out and took berdoo cyn up to J-tree for an overnighter. Took someones advice and took Old Dale Road on the way out to 29 palms. Had an awesome time but would never do that again without another jeep for backup. Probably not that crazy but for a novice such as myself it made me sweat a couple times! There were tons of other good trails out there too!

I am going out to colorado in october and was toying with the idea of checking out Moab on the way, looks amazing!
